doing LIFE together .....

so much to do & so much to say ..... I love LOve loVE LOVE to say and live "doing life together". Anywho ~ darlin' D and I have become apart of a new Life Group and we had the opportunity to serve lunch at the Warehouse Church on Sunday! Yea God!! God is so good and what a blessing for EVERYONE. And of course, the Beth Moore simulcast was on Saturday ~ however, I couldn't attend but you know .. the Lord is teaching me "it's okay" b/c I am where He wants me to be. So no pity party was needed. And then I was invited to a conference in Sacramento this coming week .. and still the Lord is saying not now ... and I am TOTALLY okay with this!! So, TODAY .... enjoy doing LIFE together ... and if you can call me and we'll go sip some tea together. xoxox, m

directions ~~~> H O M E

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FATHER'S HOUSE ~~~~ Make a Right onto Believeth Blvd.
Keep straight and go through the Green Light, which is Jesus Christ.
There, you must turn onto the Bridge of Faith, which is over troubled water. When you get off the bridge, make a Right turn and Keep Straight.
You are on the King's Highway - Heaven-bound. Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son, and One for the Holy Ghost.
Then exit off onto Grace Blvd. This is a journey, it may seem long but it actually goes by fairly quickly! Enjoy the journey .... From there, make a Right turn on Gospel Lane. Keep Straight and then make another Right on Prayer Road. It's the wireless communication from you to God! As you go on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on Temptation Ave. Also, avoid SIN STREET because it is a DEAD END.
Pass up Envy Drive, and Hate Avenue. Both of them are a waste of time and a robber of your joy. Also, pass Hypocrisy Street, Gossiping Lane, and Backbiting Blvd. Nothing to see or do down those streets! However, you have to go down Long-suffering Lane , Persecution Blvd. And Trials and Tribulations Ave. But that's all right, because VICTORY Street is straight ahead! AMEN!!!!!

Life is God's gift to you.
The way you live it.............is your gift to God. Have a great day, m

The amazing listeners and supporters in our community have come together to plan a candlelight vigil here at KISS studios Thursday evening. Below are details and an excerpt from the Facebook posting about the community rally. Thank you all for your support and we're looking forward to seeing you all Thursday evening.

This is a unique event for a community to come together to show support for survivors, encourage others to speak up, and stand up and tell the world we will not tolerate this abuse anymore.

This is an event you do not want to miss. Bring your candles, wear blue to support the prevention of child abuse and/or wear green in remembrance of little Robert Manwill. Read more at facebook.com/1033kissfm

in His presence .... is where I wanna be!!

Enjoying peace .... in His presence ~~~ I love you regardless of how well you are performing. Sometimes you feel uneasy, wondering if you are doing enough to be worthy of My Love. No matter how exemplary your behavior, the answer to that question will always be no. Your performance and My Love are totally different issues, which you need to sort out. I love you with an everlasting Love that flows out from eternity without limits or conditions. I have clothed you in My robe of righteousness, and this is an eternal transaction: Nothing and no one can reverse it. Therefore, your accomplishment as a Christian has no bearing on My Love for you. Even your ability to assess how well you are doing on a given day is flawed. Your limited human perspective and the condition of your body, with its mercurial variations, distort your evaluation.

Bring your performance anxiety to Me, and receive in its place, My Unfailing Love. Try to stay conscious of My loving Presence with you in all that you do , and I will direct your steps.

Jeremiah 31:3; Isaiah 61:10; Psalm 31:16; Psalm 107:8

and all God's people said "AMEN!!"

all that I can say ..........

what?!! when 'things' are difficult and hard ... what is it we can say and or even do? I'm so sad ... and yet we are called (from the Bible) to do good and what is right. What is right?!! I know what is good ... and in doing good actions there isn't any gratitude. I'm sad. All that I can say ... Lord, I love YOU and I trust YOU. I don't understand, I don't get it!!! and what I hear in my heart is "strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord" ..... so I wait. All that I can say ....

Easter ~ the most Holy Day of the year

What a Savior! I had/have so many thoughts and ideas running through my mind. I began to reflect back on past years ... memories. We all have them, some good and some not so good. But it's the good ones we tend to remember most and reflect upon. THIS was the first 'holiday' we didn't have the boys with us (and it affected me more!). So ... as my mother's heart began talking to God about everything ... I wondered, "Lord, what is it that R & P will remember? about this most Holy Day of the year?" ... my prayer and heart yearns for them to totally embrace their faith and God. Philemon 6 states "I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ." Leaving a legacy is what we all are doing ... it's about relationships ... it's all about and for Christ ... doing life together!

Good Friday ... God's Friday

"Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." John:19:30

A day of great solemnity, Good Friday calls us to do what the disciples could not. Good Friday calls us to join Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Jesus and John at the foot of the cross. Good Friday invites us to enter that most excruciating moment of standing in our own impotence, unable to stop the dying. This day calls us to the steadiness of being present with Jesus and with one another in those harrowing moments of suffering and death.

It is always a “both/and” ... we are called this day to wait for the moment when Jesus bows his head and gives up his spirit. And we are called every day to be present in that way to one another. Some will discover a gift, a passion, a God-given talent. Others will have the innate ability to be with others whose lives are torn to ragged shreds by violence or war or natural disaster. Still others will discover that deep-rooted compassion that comes with living through grief and tragedy, seeing anew the suffering that surrounds us at every minute, though hidden by the glitz of our culture.

A mystery is revealed to us this day ...the mystery of divine love that permeates every moment of human life and experience. This day we are brought to the foot of the Cross to see, as early church writers reported, God’s cheerfulness in this self-offering. The face of divine Love shines through Jesus’ dying flesh, and God’s own life, in Jesus, is united to ours.

“The Word became flesh and lived among us,” as the Gospel of John declares. (John 1:14) In a way far beyond our human capacity to know or to understand, God is in Christ, knowing our sufferings from the inside out, hallowing the blood, the sweat and the tears, converting the Cross from an instrument of death to a tree of life.

God grant all of us the grace to stand at the foot of the Cross, to adore You, O Christ, and to bless You, because by your Cross You have redeemed the world. Amen.

God's Word .....

the Bible ~ that's the book for me (and you too!). Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active .. it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."
