I absolutely love the fact that ESPN broadcasts this event every year! These kids are NOT your typical athletes; yet they work so hard all year long! It's a huge event and exciting event. The Spelling Bee in Washington DC .... the semi-finals are today and a new champion soon!!! oh and by the way, most of these kiddos wanna be neurosurgeons ... imagine that "team" of doctors breakroom!?!!! have a great day, m

Wow ... what a story! God is good. Doug has accepted a job in CALINFORNIA ... Fresno to be specific. And he's already started!! "Toto, we ain't in Kansas anymore!!" such a whirlwind. Again, God is good. Proverbs 3:6 Please keep us all in your prayers as in this economy this will probably be the most difficult transition of all. And, if you have NOT figured this out yet ...... ALWAYS AND FOREVER write our address in pencil!

TODAY ... I grabbed a good cup O' coffee, and headed outside! read some .. and just observed. The colors, the smells, the sounds ....... and it amazed me (okay, I'm easily amazed at some things!!) .... the MOST incredible morning. Try it ... or come on over to my yard and we'll sit a spell!!!

okay ... you all know (or maybe you don't know!) Doug has been in the MBA program at Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) since August 2008. He's at the very end of the program ... the LAST WEEK!!! and they awarded the top MBA Students (from all the different co-horts) ... voted by faculty ... and the WINNER IS ~~~~ Doug Reader. So, if you see him, give him a big shout out and kuddos!! He's worked hard ... God has been so good and has provided so incredibly for him. Thanks ... and have a great day. m
