Well ............. it's one of the best! Been around for 58 years! and can't you see why? and truly you never ever mind eating off paper plates, and plastic utensils ... really!!! It's that GOOD!

I could totally be this person's best friend .... even one of the crew members!! LQQk at this yacht. The ferry is always busy ... and the ferris wheel. LOVE walking around here.

the childhood HOME ...

well, here it is ... Ocean Blvd ~ and under construction. Bittersweet I think! Of course, we understand when rebuilding HAS TO be done ... just WoW ~ I mean WoW!! and double Wow! Such a gorgeous place ... and this is the house where I believe Doug thought about becoming an architect ... and then ultimately decided on accounting = it's a math thingy that he excels at ~ and all the Reader's were CaliFornIa kiddos!! Memories ... stroll down the lane and think about your childhood!

Balboa & Newport Beach

Doug grew up in Newport Beach .. so we ended our w/e there! GORGEOUS place. I am still trying to figure out how Grandpy got Grandma to move?! But we all know, we goes whereth the jobeth taketh!! KWIM?! and what fun the 3 of us had. Darlin D' who doesn't like seafood (mind you, he will cook & clean it for moi!) actually took us to "The Crab Cooker" for lunch and for ole' time memory sake! And ... it hasN'T changed ~ still excellent food! and on the corner and red as RED can be!! We walked around of course ... and I have more photos to share.
