contemplating (pondering) MY BABY ~ paul

okay, this is from the heart .... my mother's heart! It's the Labor Day weekend (darlin' D has to work) and I'm hear in my new locale ... been here 2 months already! I'm missing going to coffee, I'm missing my back patio and firepit, I'm missing my church, my girlfriends and my BOYS!! Specifically, the baby ~ Yo Pauly, aka Smiley and current DJ Butters (on the radio in Boise!)this darlin' child turns 21 years old on 09-09-09. No I didn't plan that!! and this will be his first birthday without his momma. Know what I'm talkin' about ... I love love love love to celebrate birthdays. My familys, my friends, ... birthdays are special. SO ANY MOMMA OUT THERE IN THE BOISE/MERIDIAN area that knows my darlin' baby .... give him hugs for me!! lots of them ... 21 of them!! I'm sad .. yet, I can sense God is doing His thing in this child .. and I anticipate a glory story! So, beloved Happy Birthday early!! loving you, your mom
I decided my blog is more of an open journal, as that 5 people read this blog .. I just don't have the creative mojo flowing and I am using it to post my pics of my life!! thank you EVERYONE that does read this and for your encouragement (it is GREATLY appreciated more than words can express.)!! I promise to post a photo of this darlin' child on his day!!

duct duct .... CORN

 
 
 
today a lot of air conditioning duct work was done (yea!) .. as seen in the garage. And notice the 'ledge' around the roof to secure the tiling!! making progress. CORN, I saw these machines in action and I literally pulled the car over! It was interesting. I did get a front view of the machine but forgot to take the picture (sorry!) and just for the record if there happened to be any oil (as in olive or almond) around the corn would be popping directly off these old stocks of corn. I'd tell you what these machines are technically called ... but, I don't know!! have a great evening. adios amigas!

God showed up!!

I've had to have a couple of days to process the Beth Moore simulcast. EXCELLENT teaching!! get this .... 516 churches participated, 45 US states, and 8 countries = 90,000 people attended. Ps. 37:4 (7 insights into the verse)!! Delight in the Lord, and He will give the desires of your heart. So I ask you this ... do you delight? and what are your desires? fascinating study!!! amazing. I wish some of you were physically closer and we could study this more together. missing all of you. xoxo, m

UP & UP & UP it goes ... I know .. I just had to share again! about this ... yesterday was the roof trellises and today the roof!! I know it's plywood. But seeing the floorplan come 'alive' is fascinating (to me!). Here's yesterdays and today's progress. have a great weekend. ART ~~ doug and I finished our Tole Painting class. This is my project SUNFLOWERS. I love love love sunflowers! I had a dream about sunflowers. So, AJ this is what I was talkin' about!!! One of my favO'rite movies is 'Calendar Girls' and there's a line in the movie about sunflowers!! flowing the Son!! and then I had this page 'GRILL MASTER' ... I actually love to type. It really relaxes me and I have fun doing it! about 6 years ago, I saw a photo of an old typewriter in someone's garden with a foxglove plant growing up and out of it! It caught my attention ... and my desire to own one of these typewriters heightened!! I learned to type on one of these. Oh the pain back then! and then of course, the IBM selectric typewriters, then a Wang computer ... on and on. So, I finally found one of my "wishes" .. it was in a window at the American Cancer Society thrift shop, Visalia CA. It is in good condition ... and I'm happily enjoying viewing it!!
