I absolutely love these "Dear God .... " sayings. I found these in a coloring book. Thought I'd share this one ... b/c I think many of us are having heart-to-hearts with God. m

card CHALLENGE!

whether YOU personally hand craft a card or buy one at the store ... my card CHALLENGE to all of YOU .. is to mail (YES! snail mail!!) a card to one person weekly. A "thinking of you", a "wish you were here", a "friendship", a "funny" CARD ... send one a week! for an entire month. This is NOT asking a lot .. just a kind gesture ... to anyone!! go for it ... let me know what you did and how it went.

B U B B L E S ...

quick (and true) story. I love bubbles!! really!!! they are cheap (Dollar Store has the best quality) and relaxing (who doesn't love to blow bubbles) and you can get creative with this activity. And when life hands you troubles, BLOW BUBBLES. So, here's my story ... I substitute at all grade levels .... even the high schoolers love blowing bubbles. I give it to them as a quiet activity. Some of the teachers don't like the students to talk, so as an outlet to allow them movement and activity WITHOUT talking .. I set up a station out of the way with the bubbles and paper towels for quick clean up. You know it's kinda fun, and honestly it blesses my heart to see these students. And FYI, the males enjoy this activity more than the females (fascinating to me .. shocked my socks off!) have a great day, m

Mardi Gras ...... Fat Tuesday!!!!

okay, I understand that NOT everyone gets this ... but I cannot understand why most would NOT want to 'embrace' this. Happy Fat Tuesday. However, I was deeply saddened to hear that a sniper shot into the Mardi Gras parade. (what is my world coming to?) and in this part of the US of A not much is mentioned about Mardi Gras. If you look back into the traditions of it ... it's heart warming ... and I miss it!! tremendously. Today is Tuesday .... and tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. So all of you out there in no man's land ~~~~ enjoy the King's cake, celebrations and enjoy today and into the evening. Much love, m
