I am NOT a worrier ... nope not me! today I sent my dear friend a package to Lady Brand, South AFRICA. the post office would NOT allow me to insure it ... hhhmmm, made me suspicious ~ of which I am not either! Oh how I want this package to get there QUICKLY & SAFELY. Is that me being silly or what?!!! have a great Thursday. Are any of you eating weirdly and/or bizarrely? I have been lately! ugggh!! Spring SNOW brings ..... ?

 
 
yep, this is what we woke up to! last week we had a 70 degrees day and I began planning my planting, considering what I needed for the garden etc. And today, Friday .... Spring SNOW brings confused (Spring) birds ~ robins. Look at them! they are confused .... looking for warmth, food and a place to sing! When the boys were little, we had a tradition to begin considering spring. All of us had to be together as a family (often this was the point!) and we all had to see at least one (just one I tell you!) Spring bird .. the glorious Robin. My great grandmother, Bertha Allen, wrote a wonderful poem about the Easter Robin assisting Christ at the Cross. So, this AM ... I thought about the Robin. have a great weekend. m

praying for God's will ....

 
throughout everything ... Doug and I have been continually praying for God's will to be done. Do we have the answers ... nope! and day after day we pray. well, last night both of us had a difficult time sleeping (possibly because youngest darlin' sonO'ours was out till 1:30AM ~ this is normal in the life of a 20 year old ---- not normal for a 47+ year old mother!) ... anywho, God was getting Doug's attention and mine too. This design is an ORIGINAL created by none other than D. A. Reader, my beloved. The globe represents worldwide, the triangle represents how we should be living our lives ~ triangular with God as the headship and both of us on either side, the GG represents glorifying God. wow ... how's that for a sermon!!! It rocked my boat!!! so, we still ask God for His ways, and will to be in our lives. love, m

hail & hot .. all in one day

today ... it hailed (and a lot!) with thunder and sideways rain. Then it warmed up .. okay not hot but it was hotter than it's been in a very long looooong time. 58 degrees I believe. and it's only 3:30 in the afternoon. Well, you know you've lived in a location long enough when your driver's license expires! yep, it happened to me. Come to think of it, it will happen to darlin sons O' mine too. I can't believe that ryan will be 23 years old on sunday! I do have a Q for all of U .. where can I buy vanilla chai tea (a request from Lesotho, SA) and a dark chocolate bar with nuts & berries? what would that be called? HELP!!!! xoxo, m
